About Ventura County
Originally a part of Santa Barbara County, Ventura split ties and became independent in 1873. As of 2020, it has a population of 843,843 people. It is also home to many natural landmarks. The Adolfo Camarillo Heritage Grove, for instance, is lined with lovely eucalyptus trees. There are also hot springs, a popular spot for tourists. While visiting, these tourists can also visit many historic locations, such as the county’s first post office or the old sugar beet factory. Today, Ventura County is divided by the Conejo Grade. These separate areas are known as West County and East County, respectively.
